“The Extended-Range Electric Vehicle that is redefining the automotive world is no longer just a rumor. In fact, its propulsion system is so revolutionary, it’s unlike any other vehicle or electric car that’s ever been introduced. And we’re making this remarkable vision a reality, so that one day you’ll have the freedom to drive gas-free.”

My roommate is on the waitlist, but can america’s first full-large-scale-production electric vehicle succeed? Well we could of been here 5+ years ago had the  dumb idiots at GM not smashed theirs.

So..when does everyone realize no more gas soon?

Peak oil needs to become a household topic, aka, CNN need to get its hands on it and scare everyone back into $9.00/gal gas.

Carbon credit markets-

“Carbon credits are a key component of national and international attempts to mitigate the growth in concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Carbon trading is an application of an emissions trading approach. Greenhouse gas emissions are capped and then markets are used to allocate the emissions among the group of regulated sources. The idea is to allow market mechanisms to drive industrial and commercial processes in the direction of low emissions or less “carbon intensive” approaches than are used when there is no cost to emitting carbon dioxide and other GHGs into the atmosphere. Since GHG mitigation projects generate credits, this approach can be used to finance carbon reduction schemesbetween trading partners and around the world.”

This is a feasable way to promote green industry, penalize polluters, and help get rid of global warming.

The concern of passing the dollar down river to consumer is garbage because a greener business in an industry will have less carbon costs. Thusly they will promote the lowest prices, driving the other business’ to evolve or die.

Cut the red tape, help save the economy by creating both the market and a carbons futures market and have people INVEST in green companies.

I live Downtown, and this winter, sucked. Other then great views of valley and then I have a great view of the Inversion as it covers the valley.

During our last inversion I decided to ride my bike to work, I live three blocks from work. Bad choice, never have I coughed so hard especially coming home (uphill). I’m a frequent rider, but I suppose I need to get a mask, much like the Olympic riders in China this past summer.

Driving over the freeway, like on the way to school you can often see the inversion. Right over the top of the freeway, yes, its thicker there because of the condensed emitions. You can see a semi add to a already existent cloud. Gross.

I moved downtown to cut down my commuting, both economically and environmentally it was a better choice. I work three blocks away, have three online classes.

I wish I could do it without thinking about needing a mask!

We all need to condense our ‘commute’ trust me not just for your sanity, but for our heath, and the planets health. Slowly people will realize that bout the Planet and Our future is interlocked.

Also so excited about Obama’s Carbon trading market..

The International Energy Agency (IEA) is courpt.

Suprise.

A report by a agency watchdog said “Due to the ties to oil, gas and nuclear sectors.”

The corruption evovled in lack of proper influence on advicing goverments to move towards a more renewable enery grid. The IEA apparently also miscalcualted the potential capacity for wind power, as well as projected that in 2015– all wind would stop.

Idea, stop listening to these colition goverment agencies. The United Nations should push forward a World Power agenda. The fact we have most likely by most guesses hit ‘peak oil’, the world is on a downturn and the planet is melting slowly into eMarSth, should be motivation enough.

Any surprises in the area of PR work, based on what you find at PR Watch?

No real suprises, I was however excited… maybe a little suprised at the amount of information you were to access, acruately and quickly.

How is PR different from advertising?

PR is selling a product for public opinion, advertising is selling a product for compensation.

How does PR Watch leave you feeling about the PR industry?

I feel the same about the PR industry as I did before, impartial, but I know it necissary.

Is corporate capitalist PR any different than that practiced by groups like the Sierra Club, or the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance, etc.?

No, a lobist group is a lobist group, corporate funding can go into a agency like the Sierra Club to push an equal adgenda. Its not that different.
